10/23/10: The first Yallahs reunion in Jamaica. We made the following donations.

J$100,000 was donated to the school's feeding programme and a microwave valued at J$10,000 was donated to the Staff Room. 

Can someone please assist me in getting tickets for both School reunion and the beach party please.

Every effort must be made to advertise this event! Let us network via available resources to get the word out as this is a very historic and important event.

Hope you are all enjoying the hot Summer!  Can you imagine we are ONLY two months away from our All-Class Reunion 2010?!!!  Well, I know you might be wondering what's going on with the arrangements so here's a very important update.  

The Planning Committee is in the process of dotting the "I's" and crossing the "T's" to ensure that the occasion is a memorable one. However, we cannot achieve this without your input.  So...here is where you can help!  

Confirm your attendance by September 12, and purchase your tickets by September 30.  It is especially important for persons who plan to attend the Dinner to confirm your attendance NOW, as the final confirmation of the the venue and catering is due by mid September.

To confirm your attendance, please send me an email via this website or directly from your email to shereking@yahoo.com, or just call me at (876) 836-7316/431-0554.

And remember...if you can't make it to the main event, there are three other events to choose from.  Worship with us at the School on Friday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m.; OR party with the crew at RADA Beach, Lyssons on Sunday, October 24; OR join us as we get back to school on Monday, October 25 for "Past Students Day".  You've got to be a part of this!!!

The beach trip will at RADA Beach St. Thomas, its a private beach. 

The Grand YHA Reunion 2010 has gone down in history as the most memorable event in the life of Yallahs High School.  On behalf of the Joint Planning Committee (Team Jamaica & Team USA/CANADA/UK) I take this opportunity to thank those of you who supported us in one way or another.  We could not have done it without your support.  For those of you who missed the opportunity to be a part of this momentous occasion,  we encourage you to start planning for Reunion 2011.  Details will be communicated through various channels, including this website, so don't forget to visit this site or our Facebook page as often as possible.

Now that we have accomplished that goal, it's time to revive the Alumni Association in Jamaica.  We therefore invite all past students living in Jamaica to join us at our monthly General Meetings on the 2nd Sunday each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Yallahs High School campus.  The next meeting will be held on December 12, 2010, at which time we hope to adopt the new Constitution for the Association and nominate individuals for the election of new officers. 

Be a part of the process...together we can "Work to Achieve" our goals.
